More than 700 children on the field with NBA coaches from 1 to 10 April, brought to Italy by Champions Camp as part of the NBA Basketball School project
National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sport & Fun Holidays SRL, one of the leading specialized Italian tour operators through the Champions brand
Camp, a holiday offer aimed at children and adolescents, announced today that the Player Clinic Tour, scheduled for April 1-10 in 7 Italian cities, is having more success than expected.
From April 1 to 10, NBA basketball schools will arrive in seven Italian cities (originally 6 were scheduled there) for a series of clinics dedicated to young players of both sexes, from 6 to 16 years of age: Rome (April 1), Capo d’Orlando (April 3). , Udine (April 5), Treviglio (April 7), Cunio (April 8), Fidenza (April 9), Bologna (April 10).
Almost all the steps are sold out. Capo d’Orlando, Rome, Udine and Bologna have only a few places left but really high demand means there will be no more places in these cities for a maximum of one week. At each stage, two to three NBA basketball school coaches will conduct 90-minute standing training sessions with carefully selected Italian coaches for talent and qualifications.
In addition, starting June, players ages 6 to 16 will have the opportunity to participate in weekly NBA curriculum development and training camps at Capo d’Orlando (13 – 17 June), Udine (20 – 24 June), Bologna (27 June – 1 July). ) And Rome (July 4 – 8). The summer program, aimed at young people aged 8 to 17, will end on July 3-16 with a two-week summer camp at Ferrara’s Lido Degli Scotchi. This last location, the only one where participants can participate in a residential formula (with overnight stay in the structure) is literally stormed and a few units are missing to close the registration. A waiting list will be opened for any future opportunities.
